The InMotionTM Orthopaedic Research Center is an independent, private, not-for-profit orthopaedic research laboratory whose "discoveries keep people moving.”

Mission, Vision, and Values in Orthopaedic Research

InMotion's mission is to accelerate scientific discoveries in orthopaedics that enhance personal mobility, leading to greater individual freedom and a more fulfilling life.

InMotion's vision is to be a world leader in orthopaedic research, eliminating bone and joint pain and disability.

InMotion's core values provide the basis for its streamlined, patient-focused solutions, and help bring together diverse, collaborative teams with focused expertise.

Leadership

InMotion's leadership consists of the President and Executive Director, his operational management, and research teams.Oversight and governance is provided by a Board of Directors, and a Scientific Advisory Committee helps InMotion achieve its scientific mission. To strengthen its community ties, InMotion created an Executive Advisory Committee.

History

In 2005, Memphis Tomorrow and the Campbell Foundation made the landmark decision to position Memphis as a center for excellence in orthopaedic research.
